Where Memory Lingers 기억이 머문 자리
“Where Memory Lingers” is a collection of poems I wrote more than twenty years ago and have only now gathered and published. Like this book — and like my photographic works — it holds fragments of the journey I have lived. My photographic series, from The Starry Night to Marionette, Avatar, and Becoming Tree, unfolds through dreams, trials, escapism, and a return to nature. This poetry book follows a similar four-part structure:
Part I — The Warmth Called You
Part II — Quietly Seeping Longing
Part III — Breath of the Seasons, Texture of the Wind
Part IV — Crossing the River Called Life
시집 ‘기억이 머문 자리’는 20여 년 전에 써 놓았던 글들을 묶어 뒤늦게 출간 한 것이다. 이 시집 또는 나의 사진작업들처럼 나의 살아온 여정을 담고 있다. 나의 사진작업들이 ‘The Starry Night’, ‘Marionette’, ‘Avatar’, ‘Becoming Tree’로 이어지면서 꿈과 시련, 현실도피, 자연회귀의 순으로 전개되는 것과 동일한 구조의 4 파트로 구성이 되어 있다. 1부 당신이라는 온기, 2부 고요히 스미는 그리움, 3부 계절의 숨결, 바람의 결, 4부 삶이라는 이름의 강을 건너며 로 구성이 되어 있다.
